Florida A&M sprinter Dajon Clark had a big day at the RADD Sports College Invitational.

He held his own in a 60-meter field that included the reigning Olympic 100-meter champion Noah Lyles.

In the preliminary round, Clark clocked in at 6.75 seconds, finishing third in his heat (and overall) to advance to the finals.

He improved his time in the finals, running 6.73 seconds to finish in fourth. Not to be outdone was Lyles, who took home the win with a 6.62-second time.

Also featured in the 60-meter final was South Carolina State sprinter Jalen Alleyne, who qualified by running the fastest time in his heat of 6.89 seconds. He went on to mirror that time in the finals.

The day before his encounter with the Olympic 100-meter champion, Clark secured his second long jump win of the season, measuring in at 7.20 meters.

The Florida A&M senior came into this weekend riding high following an impressive performance at the HBCU Showcase, taking home wins in the 60-meter and long jump finals.

In the 60-meter final, he ran a career-best 6.66-second time, marking the first time he has run sub-6.7 seconds in the 60 meters since 2023.

Clark is seeking his first career SWAC Indoor championship in the 60 meters, having finished in second place in each of the last two years.
