Just as LeBron James has been seen in many Florida A&M-specific models of his signature shoe, another NBA star has done the same.
In a recent game against the Detroit Pistons Saturday night, Los Clippers point guard James Harden took the court in the Prairie View iteration of the Harden Vol. 8.
The “Prairie View” Harden Vol. 8 sports a black mesh foundational layer overlaid with purple foam. Prairie View branding can be seen on the pull tabs, with gold showing up on the Adidas logo on the rear heel.
These Harden Vol. 8s are part of a quintet of Adidas signature sneakers, with each one dedicated to an affiliated HBCU that includes Grambling, UAPB, Alcorn State, Alabama State, and Prairie View A&M.
