Jackson State pulled its latest recruiting coup.
The Tigers were able to flip three-star wide receiver Lester Miller from Ole Miss.
“Sometimes our plans aren’t God’s plans and I’m trusting Him on this one!”, Miller wrote on Twitter. “Say hello to the newest member of the #1400Klub.”

The original plan Miller referred to was Ole Miss, which is where the Brandon, Miss product had previously committed. In his senior season at Brandon High School, Miller hauled in 66 receptions for 1,484 yards and 16 touchdowns in helping lead the school to the Mississippi High School Athletic Association Class 6A title game for the second consecutive season.
Despite Miller’s exploits (9 receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns), Brandon fell in defeat to Starkville, 48-32.
Miller, who is the 35th-ranked player in the state of Mississippi, initially committed to the University of Akron in July, but decomitted in December. He then committed to Ole Miss January before altering his course for Jackson State.
