As the 2023 HBCU football season inches closer, the SWAC will be in the national spotlight during days that are not Saturday.
This fall, three weeknight SWAC games are scheduled to air on ESPNU.
The first is a Thursday night matchup featuring Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Alabama A&M on Sept. 21, according to FBSchedules.com
Then, on Thursday, Nov. 2, Mississippi Valley State travels to Daytona Beach, Florida, to play Bethune-Cookman.
Three SWAC football games in 2023 moved to weeknights and will be televised by ESPNU:
UAPB-AAMU: Thur., Sept. 21, 7:30pm ET
MVSU-Bethune: Thur., Nov. 2, 7:30 pm ET

Finally, UAPB will play their final home game of the season against Grambling State on Friday, Nov. 10.
It will be the second time in the past three seasons that Arkansas-Pine Bluff has played in multiple weeknight games since 2021.
Grambling State, on the other hand, will play a weeknight game for the first time since the 2014 season.
