South Carolina State linebacker BJ Davis has announced he is entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
In 10 games during the 2022 season, Davis made a strong case for the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year award amassing 94 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, five interceptions, and seven pass breakups.
The Bulldogs senior was a pivotal member of the 2021 HBCU national championship team in which he was named to the All-MEAC first team.
