With the upcoming additions of Southern’s Harold Carmichael, South Carolina State’s Donnie Shell, and Texas Southern’s Winston Hill, the number of former NFL players with HBCU ties in the Pro Football Hall of Fame will increase to 34 among 17 different HBCUs.
