CLARKSDALE, Miss. – Coahoma Athletics will have a fresh new look in the 2018-2019 sports season. The Tigers have teamed up with Adidas for a three-year partnership as the leading manufacturer and distributor of Coahoma sporting goods, apparel, and equipment.
The department-wide agreement will cover the college’s 5 intercollegiate athletic programs. The deal includes access to Adidas uniforms, as well as shoes, equipment, and other supplies.
“This will give us an opportunity to be outfitted with top-quality material and wear the Adidas brand, said Interim Athletic Director Reggy Hankerson. “Adidas offers a very good program for smaller institutions, and we get the same perks as the larger institutions.”
Coahoma Football will be the first of the institution’s athletic programs to show off the new threads in their season opener against Jones County on Thursday, August 30, 2018, in Ellisville, MS.
Head Coach Steven Miller is excited about the new look for the Tigers. “Adidas will be a great look for Coahoma Football this season,” said Miller. “This is a great opportunity for our recruits to realize that CCC has high-quality gear that will help them to do their best when they are out there on the field.”
