Southern University recently released its 2018 football schedule last week.
The 10 game schedule features nonconference contests against Big 12 member TCU on Sept. 1 in Fort Worth, Texas, a Sept. 8 contest at Louisiana Tech and the home opener against Langston on Sept. 15.
Southern will play Alabama A&M in Mobile, Ala., to begin conference play Sept. 22 before the Jaguars return to Baton Rouge on Sept. 29 to face Alcorn State.
The October slate of games will feature a road trip to Prairie View A&M (Oct. 13), a neutral site game against Texas Southern (Oct. 20) at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, and a home game against rival Jackson State (Oct. 27) before hosting Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 10.
Southern will face Grambling State in the annual Bayou Classic at the Superdome in New Orleans Nov. 24.
