We’ve decided to do things differently in determining this week’s HBCU Sports Band of the Week.
This post serves as an announcement of the HBCU bands that have been nominated to be a part of the polling that will begin Thursday morning.
The six bands nominated for this week’s vote are Albany State, Alcorn State, Central State, Jackson State, Miles College and Tennessee State.
Below are the Saturday performances of each band nominated.
Tennessee State (Southern Heritage Classic)
Jackson State (Sothern Heritage Classic)
Alcorn State (Halftime vs. Alabama State)
Central State (Chicago Football Classic)
Miles College (Halftime vs. West Georgia)
Albany State (Halftime vs. Tuskegee)
The band poll will open Thursday morning and will end Friday night (Sept. 16) at 11:59 p.m.
