Despite the 0-2 this season, Coleman said he is pleased with the growth of the team.
38:52 – Broderick Fobbs (Grambling) – Said the trip to Arizona was a good one for his team. Stated the team played well and was focused in the first half, but turnovers made the difference in team’s loss. Said he will not count the game as a loss for this team, but rather as a learning experience. He wanted to play Devante Kincade again after his first half injury, but didn’t think it was worth bringing him back in possibly making the injury worse. Made no excuses for the loss. Said his team just didn’t play well enough to win the game. Said Kincade suffered a strained hamstring. Commented that all of the coaches in the SWAC can coach at any level. 1:20:11 – Dawson Odums (SU) – Said Tulane is a very good football team. Commented about how difficult it was to play against the triple option offense that Tulane ran.
