Southern University wide receiver took another step in his recover from a serious spinal cord injury suffered this season.
Gales, who recently celebrated his 22nd birthday, was seen in a Facebook photo not wearing a neck brace.
Gales was injured during a collision during the second half of a game at Georgia on Sept. 26. when he ran into Bulldogs kicker Marshall Morgan.
Since the injury, Gales has been undergoing rehabilitation and physical therapy treatment, all while getting well wishes and financial support from Southern, Georgia and even current St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley.
What y’all should really do is post a story about the fact that the SWAC commissioner has yet to speak on this situation while various outlets, black and white, and even other conferences have reached out to him….
Toni, you should not speak on things on which you have no knowledge. Commissioner Sharp has visited with Gales and is in constant communication with his family.
