STATS, LLC has named Grambling running back Martez Carter STATS FCS Special Teams Player of the Week for games Sept. 24-26.
Carter, known as “Mr. Excitement”, had a record-setting day in Grambling’s 70-54 win over Prairie View A&M.
In addition to scoring on two kick returns for touchdowns – one for 88-yards and the other for 100-yards – Carter had one rushing touchdown for 10-yards and another receiving touchdown for 29-yards.
