For the first in several decades the winner of the MEAC will participate in a bowl game. It will be an interesting twist for a conference that has prided itself on the conference champion competing in the FCS playoffs.

But the season should still be an extremely competitive one just one year removed from a scenario where five teams tied for first in the league.

Offensive Player of the Year – Tarik Cohen – North Carolina A&T

Coach of the Year – Rod Broadway – North Carolina A&T

Defensive Player of the Year – Javon Hargrave – South Carolina State

Offensive Lineman of the Year – Clevonne Davis – North Carolina Central

PREDICTED ORDER OF FINISH

North Carolina A&T (MEAC Champion)

Bethune-Cookman

North Carolina Central

South Carolina State

Morgan State

Howard

Hampton

Delaware State

Florida A&M

Norfolk State

Savannah State
