Former Norfolk State Spartan Kyle O’Quinn has signed a four-year, $16 million contract with the New York Knicks on the fourth day of the NBA free agency period.
According to Yahoo Sports, the deal was part of a sign-and-trade between the Orlando Magic and Knicks.
The Magic are expected to receive cash considerations and second-round draft picks with the Knicks in 2019.
O’Quinn averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 51 games with the Magic last season.
O’Quinn was a second-round draft pick of the Magic in 2012 after leading Norfolk State to the NCAA Tournament and an upset win over then No.2 seed Missouri.
