Florida A&M is on the brink of naming the school’s next head football coach.

According to Football Scoop, the three finalists for the vacant job are Joker Phillips, Corey Fuller (FAMU interim head coach) and Willie Simmons (Alcorn State offensive coordinator).

Just days ago, it was reported FAMU had interviewed eight candidates.

With that list reduced to three, it appears the school, as expected, will name a head coach by its self-imposed January deadline.
