From the Democrat:
“Flemng said Holmes addressed the players in a 1 p.m. meeting and informed them he had been terminated. Fleming also stressed that players will play in Saturday’s homecoming game against Norfolk State. There was speculation, according to Fleming, that players would boycott the game.” In a tweet reported by Carver, FAMU quarterback Damien Fleming said that the players would not boycott the game.
