Morgan State running back Herb Walker Jr. has been added to the Walter Payton Award watch list.
The junior running back started the season in a reserve role before amassing 100 yards in five consecutive games since, including a pair of 200-yard performances.
Walker Jr. has scored nine total touchdowns and is averaging 152.5 yards per game on the ground, which leads the MEAC and is third in among FCS rushers.
He joins Alabama State running back Malcolm Cyrus as the other HBCU representative up for the Water Payton Award.
