For the third straight week, the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats and the Winston-Salem State Rams remain atop the HBCU Sports FCS and Division II fan polls.

The fan poll is conducted weekly during the regular season and gives fans the chance to vote for their top 10 HBCU teams at the FCS and Division II levels.

Bethune-Cookman (2-0) received 29 first-place votes after securing a come-from-behind victory Saturday against Grambling, 36-23.  Alcorn State (2-1) climbed two spots in the poll to capture the second spot, followed by North Carolina A&T (2-1), Alabama State (2-1) and Tennessee State (2-1) to round up the top five.

Texas Southern (3-0), the only other team in the top 10 that is unbeaten, took the sixth spot with 3 first-place votes.  Jackson State (2-1), coming off of a 35-7 loss to Tennessee State in the Southern Heritage Classic on Saturday, fell to seventh place, followed by South Carolina State (1-2), Southern (1-2) and Howard (1-2).

The Rams (1-1) managed to keep the top spot in the Division II poll despite suffering a 22-17 loss to Valdosta State.  Tuskegee (1-1), Fort Valley State (1-1), Albany State (0-2) and Miles (1-1) complete the Division II top five.

The remaining five slots went to Morehouse (0-1), Elizabeth City State (1-1), Kentucky State (1-1), Livingston (2-0) and Fayetteville State (0-2).
