Cliff Yoshida will be the new defensive coordinator at Prairie View A&M, according to a report from FootballScoop.com.

Yoshida, whose coaching career spans more than 40 years, has had coaching stints at a number of FBS and FCS programs including East Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, North Carolina Central, North Carolina A&T and Southern.
Before serving as director of player development at Georgia Southern for the 2013 season, Yoshida was defensive coordinator at Grambling from 2007-2012.
A source employed with Prairie View A&M confirmed that Yoshida was seen on campus last week. An official announcement from the school is expected soon.
