The Lady Panthers defeated the Grambling State Lady Tigers in convincing fashion winning 66-50. Gaati Werema and Candice Thomas paced the Prairie View A&M offensive attack scoring 19 points apiece.
Derek Johnson scored a game high 27 points leading the Panthers to victory over the GSU Tigers 76-69. Johnson went an impressive 11-of-16 from the floor while also contributing seven rebounds.Â
The men’s and women’s basketball team will now return home to face Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Mississippi Valley State at the William Nicks building on Saturday January 26th and January 28th respectively.
The Panthers are ready to roar.
