Donald Trump did not have a genuine interest in engaging in meaningful negotiations with Zelensky. His main goal was to publicly humiliate Zelensky on television, demonstrating a blatant disregard for the essential principles of diplomatic decorum.
Trump's behavior suggested that he is mentally unstable and was seeking to appease Vladimir Putin, which significantly undermined the national interests and global stability of the United States. This was a deliberate setup.

I have and I know what's going on first hand behind the scenes. When Zelensky made that statement about the beautiful ocean and one day America will feel it and understand it is real. Americans are spoiled and live in fantasy land. September 11th, the Boston marathon bomber and the United Health care CEO in NYC showed the weakness of Americans. Every CEO in America now has 24 hour security. Elon Musk hired 24 dudes to protect him 24 hours and was just deputized by the Federal Marshalls. They are playing games with the Americans lives. Russia is playing Trump. The American dollar depends on the world. America has never won a war without it's allies. The reason we support NATO is so the fight will not come to our soil. All I can say is if Putin takes Urkaine he's going after Poland. When he does Americans son's, daughters, nieces, nephews will die on Europe soil. I have visited American Military grave yards all over Europe. I read the names on the list and seen where they were from. Many kids at 17, 18, 19, 20. If this what folks want the crociddlie tears will follow it.

He knew it was coming. Take into consideration Dump's bilateral discussions with Putin about the war without him involved, the attempt to execute a protection/extortion racket for 50% of Ukraine's rare earth minerals and a repayment five times the amount of aid they received along with all the lying about which nation was the aggressor and little is left but to know the visit was for an audience of one, Putin.
Zelensky had to show up since the head of states from France and Great Britain showed up to reason with Dump prior to his arrival. He also had to do it to erase doubt he was being unreasonable.
For those in Europe still hoping for a positive diplomatic outcome, yesterday's ambush convinced all of them and the rest of the free world Dump is a Russian agent, something Zelensky likely suspected since Dump's first term.
Zelensky is not fooled by Dump. Every since he was pressured by Dump to start up a phoney corruption investigation on Biden it was made clear who Dump is. People need to ask themselves did the idea to have Ukraine investigate Biden start with Putin or Dump? The answer is too easy.

Trump just wants to get himself and his buddies richer. That's that goal. He doesn't really care about America being a Christian nationalist nation. Dude was an atheist before running for POTUS. But he will use whatever folks or issues are for his own interests. If that's exploiting a cultural war issue or actual war, so be it.

Zelensky is fighting for his country. I am proud of him and Ukraine. Putin thought this would be over in a week. If he had the equipment they could have moved Russia out of his country. They have invaded Russia, they have control of Kursk Russia. They have been attacking Russian bases and war manufacturing facilities.
