WTF was he thinking?!?!

This is fake outrage lol... everyone on this post knows what he said is true… student athletes are telling you its true… older folks dont understand because they still think their next head coach is going to be the next Eddie Robinson or Buddy Pugh and be at their school for the next 50 years… TIMES are DIFFERENT now with the portal. You better get in the game or get left behind. It aint a coach in the SWAC that dont agree with what DT said…. Now they may not pubicly say it but they know.

I beg to differ regarding fake outrage. It is outrageous for an employed coach at an HBCU to publicly say basically come to us to get coached up so you can go and play somewhere else. It is outrageous for ANY coach on a collegiate level to publicly push that kind of narrative - regardless of what the actual circumstances may be at this time in recruiting. Finally, it is outrageous that he singled out HBCU's when again EVERY SCHOOL - P5 included are getting dealt with in terms of losing players to the portal and other P5 schools, this ain't HBCU specific. We know these kids ain't loyal, but at the same time we gotta have a different message than "come here to go somewhere else".

So you basically saying …. We dont care about the player….we are about the player that plays for us. I see that ALOT on this board…. All kinds of celebrations when they sign… then fans EVEN ON HERE doggin that same player out when he transfers. Maynor has said many times… every player that has left for a different school still calls him on Father’s Day. Unlike some schools, it was never any bad blood that made them leave… they wanted to play at a higher level… they wanted NIL money…and he had no problem with them doing what they felt was best for them.

You're differing statements sound pretty close to verification.

Black people are the most in the feelings sensitive people on earth. Get out your feelings and put your big boy drawz on and deal with it. The game has changed. Change with it or get left behind. Always worried about what it sounds like or what white folks will think. Get out your feelings. It's business. Bottom line. In business is never personal. Just business

How is this not hard to comprehend?

I don't care if it is reality, you don't say it as a D1 coach out loud

You black people don't get it. You know the number one reason why white folks love Dumb Donald Trump? It's because although he is a very ignant azz human being he says what 70% of them think out loud. Country black folks are the worst. They love to talk behind your back and be shameful and never say what needs to be said out loud. Sometimes it's gotta be said. What's the difference between saying it behind closed doors like it ain't happening then saying it in public? You still get the same results.

This aint got schit to do with "country black folks" or "folks in there feelings" lol.

I actually DON'T care about the player that is not in my program, why would I? Regardless of if he played for my team first. There is not any bad blood, but what the hell I care about somebody who ain't here and who is not contributing? I have to focus on MY squad and who is down with me. The hell kind of sense is that? And I know yall gotta support ya coach lol, it's cool. Nobody said anything about bad blood for players leaving, of course if they feel as if they can do better, please by all means jump out there and see what you can do, get you some NIL money. There is a difference in a player coming in and deciding he is going to test the portal and you using that as your actual recruiting pitch - come to play for me so I can help you leave. Boy, you AAMU folks shole helped us out to understand what your slogan REALLY means - "Start here and go anywhere" - I see it now.

I mean seriously who cares what y'all think. Ain't none of y'all giving AAMU a dime and ninety percent of the ones on line haven't gave $20 back to the school. Sports is a business. Treat it as such or you will be struggling at best.

1. Certainly not giving a dime to AAMU since it aint my school
2. I give more than $20 to my University, and give more than money, I contribute students, student athletes, and resources in terms of business connection and potential partnerships for the University, I can't/won't speak for the other 90%
3. We in Montgomery recognize the sports business - and we treat it as such as reflected in the multiple Commish Cups we have that reside on 915 South Jackson Street, Montgomery AL. We are contributing and investing in our sports business and granted it could be a whole lot better - but I would think we could all say that. But what we ain't gone do is say/advertise "Let us act as a training ground for you, you were not good enough to get that P5 scholly/NIL you wanted initially, but come to us and we will help you get it".

We appreciate that, don't think we were asking for help....that's what happens when you bend outta shape tryin to defend some bullshit lol. Ain't nobody trying to handle AAMU, but if what yall boy posted was all good and "we" were the only ones - you know the country black folks, the ones in our feelings etc. -that saw it for what it was, then he would have stood on business 10 toes down, would not have deleted it, and Wms wouldn't have put out an apology with Maynor picture as if Maynor was the one that wrote the apology lol.

Yall STILL arguing about this? Lil Annie Mae still gone be sorry regardless so it don’t matter what was said or true about a tweet. It ain’t helped this far and ain’t gone help in the future 😂

This how I know yall not right in the head. I clearly said Lil Annie Mae, not a coach. Regardless, Maynor sucks and can only beat sorry teams which is why he’s 3-3 vs us. Go argue with Valley or somebody on your lil level
jasson steak located in a city with potholes, no trash pick-up and dirty drinking water but we lil annie mae???....NEGROE PLEASE LOL
