I HEAR THAT BEFORE THIS SEASON STARTED, GRAMBLING HAD ALREADY EXTENDED SPEARS' CONTRACT FOR TWO MORE YEARS. "LORD HAVE MERCY!"

At the Grambling/Alcorn game the fans were unmerciful towards Spears. Some fans put paper sacs over their heads to indicate shame and there were signs that read, "Spears, go back to Alcorn". Leaving the field a player was arguing with Spears while another player was shouting at Spears, "You don't care nothing about us", he repeated it several times. One fan kept shouting, "Spears go get a job, cause you aint no coach".
Students and ALumni are sick of him.
Before the Bayou Classic game, Spears told the players they could keep their jerseys. In the locker room after the game, Spears was snatching the jerseys saying, "GIVE ME MY S_ _T BACK, YA'LL DON'T DESERVE THESE JERSEYS". Then he placed the blame for the loss on the players. People feel like that was tacky and unprofessional.

Hummmmmm, don't know what was said before, during or after the BC, but do know that there were no fans at the Alcorn/GSU game with bags on their heads, there was a sign telling Spears to go back to Alcorn, and don't know if the player said what you quoted to Spears after that game...but every once in a while everyone gets pissed at their coach for one reason or another

Wasn't there a pic on this very board wit fan at your game wit a bag on his head. Let me not forget reading that newspaper on the way to the alcorn one year and the section for JSU responses were killin bell in his first year.
