WOW IS BOISE STATE FOR REAL?

I dont know....nobody gave Boise a chance to win this game. A lot of the time that in itself is enough motivation to drive the underdog to a win.

I thought Boise State was for real and could win this game. Too bad teams like Boise State have no true shot at a national championship.

JagBR, you beat me to making this thread!

I know it is early, but Boise looks for real to me!

I hope they beat OU 100 to nothing (well 100 to 7 now); that is just how much I dislike that team. I have disliked them
for years ever since the "computers" found a way to rank them higher than more worthy teams with regard to BCS rankings.

Also, those commentators LOVE OU, USC, etc. I guess that is ok, but at least let them play the game first.

:topic:Also, why were they saying during the USC/Mich game that whoever won that game would be ranked number one
in next year's 1st poll? Shouldn't the winner of the Florida and Ohio State game be ranked number 1?

Carry on.....

I remember JSU playing Boise State in the Division 1-AA playoffs in 1981! Boise State?s program has really progressed in twenty-five years!

I think by the 4th quarter Boise is going to fold... they are just happy to be there... Players celibrating... jumping up and down after FIRST DOWNS. Its like they cant believe they are even in the game.

These guys are playing.

You are so wrong. Boise St. is not scared of the Sooners. They are up 21-10. I think if Peterson can't run the ball then it will be a long night for the Sooners. Zabransky is carving up the secondary, and OU can't win a shootout with the Broncos. What is scary for OU is that the Broncos have not even opened it up yet.

They are saying that because they have so many players returning to the team next season over what OSU/UF has coming back.

If Boise St go on to win this game they will get so much more respect from the National Media for the early season polls next year. IF you arn't ranked high in the pre-season it's so hard for teams to jump up higher in those polls.

They shouldn't release a poll until the 3rd week of the season. Its not right to give teams advantage/disadvantage over the way they played last season.

Hell, some of these teams are playing the McNeese's, Sam Houston State's and Louisiana Tech's and Louisiana Tech's of the world.

You were saying?

I fell bad for Boise St.......

They had this game won and decided to play a prevent defense instead of what they were doing all game.
