Ya'll educated folks. Let's use some common sense. What is the kid SUPPOSED to say???? Mane Comegy and coaches way better than these cats we got now. EVERY time a new coach comes in, they are always coaching better, more disciplined, and more etc. than the previous regime. Nothing but cliches.

He doesn't have to say anything. He doesn't have to make himself available to the media. He is just saying what most people have observed: this staff is much better and they are developing all players.

BBF, just let it go. He's from valley. Hiring a JSU reject is the most excitement they've had in over 20yrs. Let them call it cliche. Cliche has been no stranger around these parts, Going on 20 straight years now. :lol:

No, you all will see(if you haven't already) what ALL of us Jacksonians are talking about. Comegy can't teach crap. Good motivational speaker, but teacher? Naw. Hayes will not teach your defense nothing. Absolutely nothing. He would still be in D2 if Comegy had any sense. Hell, it took an vote of no confidence from the JSU faithful to get Comegy to get rid of Woody.

But you all will see real soon. Very soon.

Knowing how to read defenses, knowing how to have timing routes, hot routes, etc..., knowing how to play a simple zone defense, etc....

These are just a few things these coaches brought to these group of young players that Comegy never taught or took an interest in teaching.

Where is that coming from? I hear a lot of people on here saying it but has any players stated this or has anybody on here attended the practices that Comegy conducted?

Yes, players have ALWAYS said this. They don't come out in the open and say these things, but you run into players around town that talk. My nephew takes classes with ALOT of football players and I get a lot of info about how the players feel.

And here's another thing you can meditate on:

Comegy ALWAYS have serious trouble(and mostly lose to) with teams that have equal talent. So what does this mean? You can expect to lose to us forever. Even with Bookman at the helms.

"We got about three days before we play the ball game," Jackson said Tuesday. "I told them the only one who can beat us is us. So we can't afford to go out there and make mistakes because we're not that great a football team right now."

The cure?

Its friend, the passing machine.

"I told (wide receiver) coach Derrick McCall that once they come out of the field, first thing they have to do is go to that (jugs) machine because they come out here but they ignore that (jugs) machine," Jackson said. "That's why after practice, I want them to catch balls. Before practice I want them to catch balls."

Now, McCall was our OC last season under Comegy. Why would they just walk by the passing machine when our WRs couldn't catch for the first part of the season with Comegy? These simple things Comegy never taught. These things make a difference.

Comegy never taught things like this or did he not tell it enough to the players?
 



Remember how James Bell was gonna turn bcf around.we still waiting. Oh wait Comegy was gonna win all kind of scg titles because JSU don't keep coaches who don't. Well seven years later we now got grandpa false teeth. S.O.S.

On the real- In 2003, a player once described compared going from Hughes to Bell as going from a Mercedez w/ rims to a hooptie. Players say what they feel.

And that bold part is right. Hughes, Comegy, etc.... And that is why Comegy is at Valley now. You just can't sit on your butt at JSU and think that it's a free ride like at A&M. We don't play that isht.

Ever heard of a former JSU TE named Renty Rollins? LOL....he used to let the coaching staff have it on Twitter. Even got suspended behind some of the things he said.

Rico Richardson had a tough freshman year...he hated the coaching staff, and he let us know it everyday on Facebook. He complained about play calls on offense and blocking schemes on special teams.

Yeah I remember him. I thought y'all could have used him more. Never knew that players were bashing the coaching staff through social media. Hopefully the kids today are learning a lot. Good luck this season....except for Nov 8th, lol
 
LS, these guys really don't understand what comes with Comegy and his glorified D2 staff. But I'm sure that Valley is loving it, cause Comegy and his D2 staff should feel right at home. No pressure to win championships, no media presence, no alumni pressure, no nothing.

Well Comegy got paid more then Jones for the same results. I mean its the JSU way.
