Why the Dallas Cowboys won't win in the playoffs.

Everyone is clamoring over Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys, but like most upstarts--they will fail. I'm not saying this because I am a hater, but there are some concrete reasons why I feel this way after watching them play with Romo at the helm.

1. Tony Romo will be figured out. Just like Rex Grossman, who started the season on fire, NFL defenses will figure out the Romo puzzle. Defensive coordinators are too good not to make adjustments to the Dallas offense.

2. What if Romo has a bad game?
The Bears have won when Grossman has had bad games, but can the Cowboys win if Romo has a bad game?

3. Terrell Owens drops too many passes.
You can't have a wide receiver of that nature drop ball in the playoffs.

4.Can Dallas really rely on Martin Gramatica?
There is a reason why he had not kicked in a year, so we don't know how good he is in the playoffs in the clutch. It won't be easy kicking field goals in Chicago in January--if they make it that far.

Dallas is hot right now, but when the postseason comes around they won't be facing the likes of Tampa Bay, Houston or the Redskins. They will face playoff tested teams.

That ain't it, It will be the BEARS or the SEAHAWKS that put them out! Although I didn't wxpect them to do so well thus far!

Dude dont try to lump us in with the Bears because Grossman is being exposed. The defense could only save you for so long and it shows. And this coming from a team that let Steve Smith single-handedly beat the snot out of you last year in the playoffs because you didnt have an offense, like you dont now..even with that all-world defense you had. We'll be fine...Romo (unlike Grossman) has proven he can lead his team to victory down the stretch. And on top of that you Bears played probably the weakest schedule in the NFC.

You'd better be worried about whether or not Lovie Smith benches Grossman because you sure wont win a Superbowl with him behind the center. That and the fact that Harris and your best DT are done for the season. This post is just your mind telling you that you hope you dont see us in the playoffs.

And its simple to SAY defenses will make adjustments to our offense, well what adjustments are those? You fill up the box and we have T.O. on one side, Glenn on the other, and Witten as a TE who can open that middle up no problem. You sit back in a zone and we'll Marion Barber you to death. We have something you dont, and thats called a universal offense. We have a mobile QB, RB's that can get the job done, excellent receivers, a good TE and an offensive line that blocks.

Dont be surprised when we get further than the Bears in the playoffs.

I know that the Bears will win once the playoffs come around because the Bears can beat you more than one way. Defense, running the ball, punts, field goals and punt returns. The Bears are the only team this season to win two games by only scoring one offensive touchdown. Once against Arizona, and last week against the Vikings. The Cowboys had to change kickers, don't have a real punt returner and don't score many touchdowns on defense.
The Cowboys are putting too much pressure a rookie quarterback and in the end it will backfire.

You HAVE to score all of those other ways because your offense cant score. It's not rocket science. Your defense was better last year and you still got beat by one man. You only average 6 yards more per return than we do with a whopping 3 TD's on the season. And if you want to use that argument hell we're better than the Bears in Kickoff returns. We're #3 in the NFC in rushing second to only the Falcons and the Giants, while the Bears are #9, so that point is moot. You lead by a whopping 6 field goals, but that doesnt mean shat because we score more TD's than you do.

You also LEAD us in GIVEAWAYS by 2 INTS and 8 fumbles. And as good as your defense is we lead you in rushing defense too.

If the Cowboys are stuggling and get behind can they find away to score if Romo is having a bad game like the Bears, Chargers and other teams have done.?

If you watched the Giants game last week you wouldnt even have asked that question. Romo wasnt having a good game yet still did enough to put us in scoring position for Grammatica to kick the winning field goal.

That was not a bad game against the Giants. I'm talking about winning when your quarterback is throwing the ball to the other team 3 or more times a game, and has a 1.3 rating. Can the Cowboys win a game if Romo plays like that down the stretch? The Bears committed 4 turnovers against the Patriots on the road and only lost by 3. They turned the ball over 5 times against the Cardinals and won the game on the road. The Bears defense was on the field for 40 minutes and they still won the game last week. The Bears are always in a postion to change the game with their defense and special tems more than any other team in the NFL. In the playoffs defense will prevail rather than rookie quarterbacks.

You are a homer. You are looking at the world thru Bear colored glasses. The Bears did beat two bad teams even though their offense played poorly. But just like you ask questions about what will Romo do in the crunch, what will the Bears do when they play a team that is not going to GIVE them the game.

You know yourself that Grossman is not going to win in the playoffs. Throwing the ball up to #80 Berriman and hoping for pass interference calls aint gonna cut it. Lets see how good Brian is without Tommie in front of him. The heat is on...the defense is not going to be as good. What is going to happen if your offense has to put some points on the board.

The Cowboys are looking to get homefield advantage throughout the playoffs if yall slip. Your division is such garbage that its going to be difficult for us to catch you.

Look at what you said...they turned the ball over 5 times against the CARDINALS and still won. I dont care how many you had against the Patriots since you still lost. And no, in the playoffs defenses will prevail if they have an offense that wont keep them on the field because of 3 and outs. You wont have the luxury of beating up on the Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Lions or Vikings when the playoffs roll around so we'll see.

This is not a fluke. The Bears have been ranked in the Top 2 in defense each of the last two years. Yes, the loss of Tommie Harris will hurt, but when you have two All-Pro linebackers and a saftey in Nathan Vasher that is a pro-bowler. Also the Bears are a deep defensive team as well with Ricky Manning and Charles Tillman making plays and getting turnovers. Honestly, I think the Giants and the Seahawks scare me more than the Cowboys because they are a much more balanced team, and they do not rely on their quarterback to win games like the Cowboys do.

If Rex Grossman plays like he did the first month of the season then you might as well book plane tickets to the Super Bowl for the Bears in Miami. No team can beat the Bears, or any team when they can beat you in many ways.

Before you Cowboy fans make plans for the NFC Championship Game in Chicago, you might want to worry about trying to stop Reggie Bush, Drew Brees and the improved Saints defense Sunday night. Heck, you still have to worry about the Giants and the Eagles if you want to win the division.

I agree about the Saints but we've already played the Giants twice. We do play the Eagles again though.

Rookie? The Cowboys don't have a rookie QB on their roster. The youngest QB is Romo and he has 4 years of NFL experience.

Four years on the bench before this season and so that make him a rookie because he has not played a full NFL season.

The Bears will lose their first playoff game, again. They won't be playing a team that falls all over itself while the Bears offense falls all over itself.

If you're expecting your defense and special teams to score your points, you're in trouble.

At least Bears fans know the team can deal with adversiity. The Saints and the Seahawks did the same thing. Can Dallas, with Romo, overcome adversity in the playoffs.

I'll take the Bears defense over any other team's offense in the NFC, and I'll bet most experts will feel that way to. It won't be easy going into sub-zero conditions in Chicago and winning.

The Saints will be the team that will punish Romo and also EXPOSE Romo....
Romo is jus very overated....its nuthing but TV HYPE....thats all it is...SUNDAY he will be punished by SEAN PAYTON AND THE COWBOYS EX LINE BACKER COACH WHO IS CURRENTLY THE SAINTS DEF. CORD.........

WE WILL POUND THE COWBOYS:smash: :smash: ...AND PROVE THAT WERE THE BEST TEAM IN THE NFC!!!!
AND REMEMBER THIS COPPER WILL HAVE A BIG GAME SUNDAY

Man this cat really HATES the Cowboys. He just can't stand that at 8-4 we are getting more love than your 10-2 Bears. Wanna know why??? Because we're BETTER!!!!!!!!!! Haven't dealt with adversity??? Where have you been living????

1. Drew Bledsoe throwing 3 int's against Jaguars and Eagles, (both games we should have won)

2. Terrell Owens' "suicide attempt"

3. ESPN's overexposure to everything we do

4. Changing quarterbacks in the MIDDLE of a Nationally televised game, who proceeded to throw 3 int's

5. A fluke loss against a weak arse Redskins team on a bogus 15-yard penalty

6. Mike Vanderjagt shanking field goals and extra points

7. Defensive leader Greg Ellis going down for the year

8. Romo throwing 2 int's against Giants

Guess what! Through all that crap, we are still 8-4, and in the driver's seat in the NFC East!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Dallas has shown anything this year is that they have heart and won't quit, so you can save that bullisht you spewing.
