Why is it so hard to collect money from black people?

Perhaps she just doesn't need it at this moment. Don't be surprised if somewhere down the line she looks you up and ask for her money. :emlaugh:

But I need what my friend purchased for me....I needed it 3 months ago. She claims she has it and said we could do the exchange of cash for the goods. I done wrote the stuff off and said wtf. Another case of 'the hookup' can go both ways.

Two side of the story as well. What about the black business that never show up on time, services are poor, shotty work..etc.. I also have a problem with hole in the wall restaurants. All this money you make week in and out and you never move into a new building and get some cleaner surroundings.. I know dayum well E and L's making money hand over foot..Buy a new clean building so I can eat in sometimes. Just saying..

That's the way I feel about Frenchy's Chicken here in Houston.

We go through the same stuff with sports teams. Not necessarily based on the teams themselves, but the fact that they allow parents to sign up their kids without paying the fees upfront. You won't see teams in Clear Lake, (most of) Sugar Land, and The Woodlands waiting on fees halfway through the season, but it happens in (most of) the hood. Of course, that leaves the uniform company waiting on the last 25% of our payment sometimes.

Often times another parent will sponsor the struggling parent of a stud athlete in the suburbs just to get him on the team.

Easy answer don't patronize them. You don't owe them nothing and they don't owe you anything. I remember when looking for my house and getting a real estate agent that was black. He suggested that I get what he chose because I couldn't get anything better and basically was trying to rush me into a deal so he can get that little funky commission. I fired his ass the minute I got home. I don't eat, shop or accept services that I'm not pleased with. I don't play that shiat. :emlaugh:

Exactly! I'm going through this with a white real estate agent in the Smyrna/ATL area right now. She keeps trying to get that earnest money check and send me and my wife in different areas of town we have already stated we are not necessarily looking to be in. Then, she throws up the schools in other areas as reasons to keep sending us that crap. We know schools are important and we want our future kids to be in a good spot, BUT them kids ain't here yet and my wife ain't gonna going to live in something she ain't comfortable in. It's like all they see is a potential commission.

Absolute truth on patronizing businesses too .... if you keep going there, WHY DO THEY NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING? They are still getting your money. That's one thing we as black people we have yet to understand .... that's the power in money .... forcing change by NOT spending it!

So ... are you still with that real estate agent?

It's funny my wife used to be big on patronizing black businesses. She doesn't patronize a place if the attitude of the employees are bad. I still try to patronize our businesses.

I'm screaming down 3 mofos right now that owe me money. One of the futhamukas has the gall to ask me to do something else for her that she claims she "desperately" needs. I told her as soon as she pays me for the last project then we will talk. This batch talking bout, "send me an invoice". Dammit, you troglodyte....I have sent you two invoices already. I also got several text messages where you asked for the amount so you could pay me. And if one mofo comes with that "you don't know how it is" bullshat Imma get Columbine on their ass. Batch I know how it is. Yo ass don't go to the grocery store and put yo shit on the counter and then say that shit.

To tell you how trifling it is, I have a client that owns her own clothing store and cosmetics business; she will over pay me sometimes. When I tell her she paid me too much money she says..."I know how trifling some of these n***as are. I over pay you to help offset their bad business practices."

But yeah Wug, I know exactly what you talking about man.

Man, I'm going to pay you in Nickels, Dimes, Quarters and Pennies. :lmao:

Being a landlord is hard also. Most of the people that rent my property come up with a thousand excuses as to why they can't pay. I had one trifiling sister just up and move out of the house and didn't tell me until weeks later.

I once had a cat tell me "Aye bruh, thanks for cutting my yard but all I got is $50 in change". I told him I take Nickels, Dimes, Quarters and Pennies. I sat there where he counted it out too. :lmao: That shyt was heavy as hell in a walmart bag. Aye, I gotz to have mine shawty.

I only rent to Section 8 folks. In this economy, with the way jobs are in Chicago...it's not just black folks or trifling folks with money issues. At least with Section 8, I know my money will be in my account on the 1st.

Section 8 is my next plan. I'm tired of hounding people to get my money.

Sad, ain't it?

Man, it is one mofo that owes me about $100 right now and I saw him out drinking at HH. Man, I came so close to just busting his head to the white meat.
