It really depends on your feet. Anyone with sorta wide feet will have trouble breaking UAs in from my experience with players.

Thought the recent article posted on here said that the Russell deal expires in July 2016

Jordan is a Nike subsidiary but I imagine Nike would want you to wear the Nike brand specifically
