Why doesn't Steph Curry get the Cam Newton criticism

For celebrating in front of the opposing team's bench after made 3-pointers like Cam does for dancing after TDs or posing for photos on the sidelines when the game has been decided?

I love both Steph and Cam. Love their post play histrionics, but Steph hasn't caused the same criticism for stunts like this below and he does it a lot.

Steph still has some "underdog" aura about him, so I guess his antics are a bit more tolerable.

Basketball is different. Just like in baseball where you can't pause and watch your hit sail over the centerfield wall.

He's 6-3 with NBA DNA running through his veins. Curry is no underdog. Lol!

Look at his narrative.

His NBA player daddy's college didn't want him coming out of high school.

He played at Davidson. Balled hard at Davidson, but NBA folks questioned whether he could compete at the the highest level.

His durability (ankles primarily) was questioned.

These players wouldn't stand a chance back in the day. Hell they complain about getting slapped on the hand.

And players back in the day didn't complain?

Y'all let one team (the Pistons) perpetuate the false narrative that every team in the NBA played a similar style.

They were one of the exceptions, which is why many revert to then.
