Deer Jerky is the best! I like the sausage somewhat. Elk steaks are my thing. Good eating. My old co-workers in Minnesota would hunt Bear and eat them. One dude I worked with whole family hunted and then smoked the meat. He kept me supplied with the Jerky. LOL. I told him I wasn't going into Wisconsin to hunt no Bear though. SMH.
 
I clearly have the wrong friends.

You'd never know I was from Chicago, because I like to try and eat different foods.
I like deer, but hadn't had it in a while, I'd like to go bow hunting, even bought a bow 2ys ago and practiced in my back yard from time to time.

Funny, some dumbling bambi wondered onto our property late last night and I saw her azz. :| I took out the 9mm and chased that SOB firing shots (all 17 lol). :emlaugh: I was wearing cowboy boots and jeans as I was attempting to chase and shoot. By the time I'd gotten through and cursed loudly like crazy on the way back to the main part of the property, it was all sorts of stuff moving in bushes/brush in adjoining properties getting the hell on. :emlaugh:

LOL!!!!! You know I was thinking about running out there with my .45 too. LOL!!!!!!!!!! Sure was. :| Went home for Thanksgiving and visited my dad. He took me around to the field where my cousins where sitting after they came out the woods. They had just killed 6 deer. It hurt my heart when I came back and my dad called me and told me that my cousin had some deer sausage that he wanted to give me, but I had already left heading back to ATL. :(
