Why AAMU Lost To GSU

From the beginning to the end Doug worked the Officials. Doug ran on to the field raising "L" after we scored. The official did absolutely nothing about it, but an assistant ran out on the field and shouted at the official and he threw the flag passed Doug on the assistant and when Doug got through raising "L" with the referee the flag was waved off. The officials on Doug side of the field were just flat out scared of Doug. One play the official had to come from 40 yard away to throw an interference penalty on GSU. We showed our appreciation by cheering for the official. On our side of the field we did get some calls but I guess the Referee told them to cut that crap out because there were several no calls in critical situations. Would you believe the exact same play occurred in this game that our player was ejected for in the SCG; but this time the guilty party was a GSU player and it was a 15 yard penalty this time. Well atleast they learned something from last year. Now we have to teach them about holding.

Our players must learn that complaining to the officials is not going to change things. They have to learned to create their own level playing field. If you get blocked with a hand in your face mask, you have to develop techniques to make the blocker turn it loose. Some AAMU players were really letting the officials have it and none of them were tagged with a flag, therefore, it tells me that the officials saw things and did not called them.

We will regroup for the rest of the season and remember I said that Johnny Keith is the best QB in the SWAC. When he becomes the #1 QB..........

...If the above is true, please explain why GRAMBLING ended up with 17 penalties for 169 yards and A&M only 6 penalties for 66 yards???? :confused:

I knew the crying would come. AAMU lost because your defensive secondary sucks. We didn't do anything but throw long passes down the field almost every play. There really wasn't a designed pattern. Just go long...I'll hit you. Learn how to cover receivers...and you may be able to stop some drives.

Your quarterback sucks also. No need to dwell on the past...concentrate on the remainder of your season. AAMU is simply not on Greatness's level!!!! PV is more your speed.

G-Que, the officials know the difference between helping and non helping penalties. A helping penalty is one that keeps a drive going. A non-helping penalty is one that you get in the fourth Qtr to look good as an official. A non-helping penalty also can occur in areas such as two or three on your side of the fifty.

Now GSU has very good team and will win the West, because the west is weak.

GSU was only called for 17 but from my observation it should have been a minimum of 50. But if the Officials will not may the call keep doing it. 24 points of turnover will cover up for bad officating.

I can't believe that you are that gutless that you would even suggest you guys are in the same galaxy as Gram as far as talent and coaching goes. YOU GUYS SUCK !! Robinson is the worst quarterback I HAVE EVER SEEN PLAY IN THE SWAC. That's not smack talk man, it's the truth. He was horrible. And your secondary...Oh my god !!!!!!

Man, grow some _uts and be a man. YOu guys got destroyed by a better team. Simple as that. AAMU stinks like Port-A-Pottie toilet water. NOW THAT STINKS..... AND SO DO YOU !!!
 
Dou ran the score up intentional, because said he wanted to make a statement. San Jose did not want to run the score up but could have scored atleast 80 points on GSU. Take away your help and you are an average team.

...I suppose you are getting your info from your Coach(by his comments in the paper)...lets rewind this tape back to Crews Stadium when y'all were playing TnState...you were up 31-2 in the waning minutes of the 3rd quarter and I didn't see any of your starters getting pulled...matter of fact when they wanted some relief, Thomas wouldn't give it to them because of how TSU was making a comeback...Doug has been around the block a few times and knows when to call off the dogs(no pun intended)...he did not want any chance of risking a comeback...that's the way he was taught(a student of Eddie Rob) and he makes no apologies for it!!!

I can buy into that but we are not talking about the same situation. We are talking about a whipping from the stripes which led to the demise of our outstanding football players.
 



75% of GSU penalties came in the fourth quarter! I told the refs from the stands you can't try to make the penalties look good now. Some of the stuff he was throwing the flags on GSU at that time had been going on the whole game in front of every last one of them and they never threw a flag then, so I said don't throw them now!

There is a way to take a team out of the game. But, this game could've been a lot better if the refs let the teams play!

Also, GSU did hit one of our recievers just like Turner hit theirs last year and everyone in the stadium notice the similarity in the hits. The refs sure didn't throw the kid out. You know why? Doug ran back on the field again and b!tch and moaned.

We will see your arse in B'ham GSU. When we get there expect a real bad attitude.

GSU is a good team, but you ain't that good!

The refs didnt have nothing to do with it. They were excellent. As a matter of fact, I think they helped us some. But then again, they were white.

See how I did that NT?

I just admitted that a team was better than mine on a certain day. No excuses...they were just better. Just like JSU has been the last 4 times we played 1-14. Try it sometimes.

I know why we lost...it all boils down to turnovers (ESPECIALLY) in the redzone.

One or two may be questionable(which can zap momentum), but it was turnovers nonetheless.



If you turn the ball over against a team like Gram...they WILL capitalize off it, and thats' what they did. That's a swing of dayum near 30 points right there when you're in the redzone.
