Good Morning to All and Happy, Happy Tuesday to YOU! I greet you on this beautiful morning in the Almighty name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I greet you also with love, joy and abundant peace in my heart. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. This is a day that you have not seen and it has been ordained just for you! I dare you to experience the awesomeness of GOD!
I trust this email finds all doing well as I am.
This morning's devotional is an oldie but goodie. It was instructed that I send it to you on today. There are so many times in each of our lives that we, whether willfully or out of a subconscious state, disobey the voice of God. We petition God for things, we plead, anticipate and expect great things, but yet we do not want to adhere to His commands for our lives. Ironic?
Why is it that we cannot simply obey God?
Revelation 3:20 : *Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
I am sure that we have all heard the all too familiar "knock knock who's there" jokes.
Well, this morning, I seriously ask you, "Who is knocking at your door?" How many times have you heard the knock, but refused to open the door? How many times have you heard the voice and GOD and turned a deaf ear? How many times have you opened the door to someone other than Jesus Christ?
Are you currently entertaining someone or something that you let in that should not be there?
It is so very important that we as believers, first open the door, but then Hear and Obey the voice of GOD!
For some reason, the area of obedience is prevalent with me, as it should be with you! Notice I did not say perfection, but mere obedience!
Do you earnestly believe that you can consistently, or in other words, willfully, disobey GOD and expect to receive the blessings of GOD? Shall you continually operate in the "grace factor"?
Can God trust you with the promise He made when you walk in disobedience?
I charge you today to open the door to Jesus Christ and His Word. Stop allowing the enemy to come into your door and wreck havoc in your life. If GOD is knocking at your door, why won't you open it?
When God comes in, there are some things, and even some people that will have to go.
I realize that this may not be the most pleasing thing for you to read this morning, but it is one of the most beneficial !
Obedience is much better than sacrifice!
Make it an EXCELLENT day!
