GREATNESS!
SU has been playing good defense the past couple of weeks. I can't tell if it's due to the recent competition or just plain good defense. Might be a combination of both. However, you have to give credit to the jags defense for playing consistently well since the Tulane game. The two Defensive Coordinators took some heat last year, but they are doing a good job this year.
It's interesting that most of the injuries for SU has occurred on the offensive side of the ball. Don't know if that's just a coincidence or due to the fact that defensive players rotate more guys during a game and therefore stay fresher. Most injuries occur when fatigue sets in.
I think the jaguar defense will keep it close, but unless the SU offense can generate first downs and/or score they will get worn down by GSU. I expect a victory for GSU by 2 td's.
