Who is your Starting QB?

Kent proved he was Superman in Hattiesburg. That dude took major hits and did not blink. NCA&T better try some kryptonite foe dat azz.

I can't believe a QB can throw 4 INTs in a game (including a pick when the game was there to be won) and be voted player of the week.
Only in the SWAC!

:smh:

btw, one of Valley's linebackers was voted defensive player of the week.

Bruh, I feel ya!!! :smh:

Maybe the count those as defensive completions!

BTW===> The Phat Man is Back...and not throwing interceptions!

Hey Cartel...did anyone leave the twinkies for next weeks game!

This is sad. How the hell can Kent be player of the week? I guess all you have to do is throw for a zillion yds.

My vote would be for Phat boy Brugene coming off the bench and rallying Gram to the win. I don't know what his stats were, but damn he stepped up in the face of adversity.

If Kent was Player of the Week then I guess Mike Hayes could have been to with 186 yd receiving and 2 Tds. SMH@ the SWAC.

Bama State probably should have had the defensive player of the week. Seeing that they shut UTC down. Oh well again this the SWAC for you.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you JR. Although Bruce was impressive (as was Tramon Douglas)...you can't ignore Mike Hayes numbers in the loss to Northwestern. 11 catches for dayum near 200 yards against a secondary that has a returning All-American is impressive.

I realize it was a losing effort, but so was Kent's (as usual) :D
Can anyone say...OVERRATED!

Al Walker, ASU's linebacker had 13 tackles in a win!

Cedric McDonald, Valley's linebacker who was player of the week had 14 tackles in a loss!

I hear ya MB. Hayes had a great game. But I guess since we didn't win, I guess it overshadows it a bit. I was just saying that Bruce Eugene came off the bench in a tough spot against Alcorn to win the game. He could have been still down from being replaced by Cooper. So I am just giving him some props for showing up and producing in a tough SWAC matchup.

Even though Hayes did that to NW on some good Dbs. We should have won that game. No excuses will be made from this Jag. But you are right if Kent can be considered in a lost were he threw 4 ints then why shouldn't Hayes. Hell Hayes did his job. He didn't fumble the ball into the end zone like some WRs we know. Right now SU qbs have had a better year accuracy wise than Kent. He has the yds, but at least we have only thrown 2 ints. And this is with our Qbs been harassed like hell so far.
