Who are the 3 most underachievers in the SWAC conference?

Based upon your overall knowledge of he SWAC and its member schools, who would you say are the 3 most underachievers in the conference and why?

RULES: The person doesn't have to be from the school you are from, but has to play some role in the area of athletics. It can be a president, AD, SWA, etc. However, it can NOT be a coach (unless he/she has dual role). And if it going to be someone in the SWAC office it cannot be Duer Sharp. That is too easy.

What say you?

Hmmm.... Too Easy

Greg LaFleur.... SU's AD
Rob Spivery.....SU's Head Coach.. or whatever he calls himself
Stump Mitchell.. gets a pass, being his first season.. but he WILL be on this list if he cant turn things around....

1. Greg Lafleur- Really has destroyed Southern's Athletic Program

2. Aletha Ringo- She has failed to really put her foot down and let some stuff with the current coaching staff persist that should not have allowed to been. The NCAA realized that she was allowing the Fox to guard the Hen House and made the school move her office out of the Athletic Department

3. SWAC Council of Presidents- I know that this made up of a group but bringing back the 9 game mandate and allowing Duer to have such a long leash is almost criminal.

I guess it's a start. But I mentioned not to include coaches unless they had roles as administrators in the athletics department. I eliminated coaches because I think there is more to the SWAC's problems than just wins and losses, which is for the most part what coaches are judged by.

Tell me about it. I completely agree with the 3rd point.

Cosign with both of you.

He's still on the board ,so he has some influence

Hmmm.... okay Mystery Jag...... He is NO Longer the Chairman, which is vitally important at this time... SOME influence is doable..... There is No Longer... COMPLETE Tyranny involved in these Decisions...

1. SWAC Council of Presidents (So I guess I mean whoever casts SU's vote)
2. SU Board and whomever is the chair ( need to stay out of the athletic department business and hire competent people then let them do their job)
3. SU's AD (we need to hire a good one and let him or her do their job then we would need no input from number 2)

Yeah he's not the chairman, but there's a group on the board, actually a majority of the board is made up of lawyers who basically cosign whoever is in the position of influence. it's not like when he was on the board trying to ramrod his ideas through but, he still got some pull.

Yeah, I hear ya man. SUS has always had political reigns in the mix... This is unfortunate but it is what it is....
