(background: see the movie "Artificial Intelligence" for the definition of a meccha. basically a mix of organic material, mechanical and electronic equipment to form a replica of a human capable of reasoning, "thought", intelligence, etc. if you haven't seen this movie by Kubrick and Speilberg you have got to see it. very intruiging the possibilities,, and you know something from Kubrick and Speilberg had to be good. those guys are masters at these type movies.)
