What will need to happen to make this years season a success or failure for your team.
It will be successful for Alcorn to me if we went 7-2 again and go back to the SCG. Anything worse than 6-3 in the SWAC would be considered a failure.

TP is gonna speak for err body... LOL

Alcorn- They have tasted success so the only thing that will be a success to them is a repeat
Alabama State - Success for them will be getting to Houston. They have only seen the SCG once in about 10 years. However they may be patient with Jenkins in year one and I don't think they will demand a trip to Houston.
AAMU - They will be happy with a 7-4 record. That may be hard to achieve for them, however.
Valley - Success.. beating JSU. They won't win many games.
JSU - I think the bare minimum for success at JSU is going to Houston. We can lose but I think our fans will expect to at least get there or send OMJ packing.

Grambling - Success to them ONLY means championships. However, considering where they were as a program two years ago. Houston, win or lose, should do.
PV - I think they know they have work to do. A SOLID winning season should make them happy.
SU- Houston (at least) but I am sure that after going two years in a row, they would not want to return with another L
TxSo - They don't expect to get to Houston but I am sure they want a winning season. However, I think this may be Asberry's final season.
UAPB - Their fans will be happy with a winning season.

You are probably close to right on this one.

SU folks want a win in the SCG period. But not going would be a disappointment as well. Worm has set the bar by turning the program back around to the Pete prime days. So anything less than a SCG win will be a downer. But no one will panic if we go 8-3 and miss the SCG. Just will not be happy campers AT ALL. LOL. Worm can't go 7-4 without feeling some eyes on the back of his head. It's tuff on the bluff.

Yeah, heavily depending on who the other 2 losses are to. If we go 8-3 and don't make it, it would mean someone else had a heck of a season to keep us out of Houston considering 2 of the losses would be to La Tech and Georgia. Only the highly irrational fan would be mad at that. lol

Fobbs, as a G-Man and Alum, fully understands that championships are the standard by which Gramblinites measure a good season. 7 wins last years was good, but we look to win at least 10 a season
