What the hell got into Klay Thompson?

Reminded me of some of my past games from 20-25 years ago.

20-25 ago? Bruhhhhh.... :D I popped these youngstas half my age (literally smh) for 42 points in league play last Sunday evening on 9-9 3ptrs first half of which one was only 1 step over half-court after this one little boy started talking smack smh :D . The decently heavy hitters are overseas playing now but some of their college buddies are still here :D and I do not take joy in doing them because some of them were [selfish smh] scholarship ballers who obviously were never taught the game of bball correctly - it is STILL a T-E-A-M sport and true there is no "I" in team but there is 'I" in WIN. :D I missed my calling as a bball coach :( . I love the game.

Klay always seems to be good for one or two of these flamethrower games a season. Amazingly enough, he's probably the fourth best player on that team now.

KD and Steph obviously, and when he isn't busy kicking people in the head or testicles, I'd put Draymond ahead of him too.
You need to stay off that crack. If I have to choose between KD and Klay, I'm taking Klay. He may not have KD's height, but he is a better shooter and defender. And you tripping with Draymond, ain't no way he is better than Klay.

You'd be the only person taking Klay. In fact, if you gave Klay truth serum, he'd pick KD too. You'd have to invent a metric to show one that puts Klay close to being as good an all-around player as KD. Klay is a good and versatile on-ball defender who doesn't do much to affect overall team defense, or basically the opposite of Curry. Durant has much better defensive metrics, just like he did last year. This is before you get into the fact that Durant actually rebounds and creates for others, whereas offensively, Klay is a scorer and little else. As far as being a better shooter goes, I don't want to alarm you, but Durant is shooting 57 percent from the floor. Yeah.

Draymond's defense, arguably the best in the league at this point, is far better than anything Klay does as a scorer. He's also averaging 8 assists a game, as a power forward, which means that between points and assists, he's responsible for more points a game than Thompson. So Draymond is a superior defender who's responsible for more things on offense. What exactly is the argument for Klay again?
