What My 4th Was Like

I made the Bar B Que Sauce.

I went my bar to see what I had for the 4th.

I discovered some leftovers from my college days.

half fifth of Usher
half pint of 100 pipers
whole bottle of Red Dagger
a corner of MD 20/20
little Early Times

I decided to put most of it in the sauce with a couple of buds.
I guest you know everyone said that was the best sauce they had ever tasted.

They were asking as they departed, MD can you tell me the secret to you sauce. I just did this

Got off work at 6:00am and went home to sleep. Got up at 10:30am, 11:00am was on the road to Galveston. Stayed all day on the beach, left for home at 7:30pm. Bought some fireworks for the crew while on my way home. 9:15pm on my way back to work. 10:00 pm going over what I'm not going to do at work tonight, hope it's a slow night here. Will be tired as "L" in the morning when I get home.

I was tired as all get out so, I slept late...

Made a late breakfast. . .


Slept some more... then cooked Field Peas, Jambalaya with Shrimp & Sausage.
 
talked to my girl for about 3 hours, took a 4 hour nap, and then got back out to my peepz house for a few drankz and a blaze session now im home......... gotta go to work tommorow:sleeping:
 
I didn't leave the house or put on any clothes (yes, I did take a shower :p)

I washed clothes and watched the GODFATHER SAGA all day on AMC.

*I didn't want to be off anyway...rather been at work...*

as for mh's 4th,
like *atl said, it rained on a lotta folks parade yesterday.
i did make it to a bbq long enough to freeload.
 
My 4th:
Morning:
Fixed a nice breakfast and got back in the bed.

Afternoon:

Cooked some baked chicken, homemade macaroni, and english peas

Evening:
Went to Jasper's with a friend and had some drinks.
 
I was knocked tha fugg out !!!!

Stayed up a little too late the night before.

Ate some left-over hot dogs.

Crashed on the couch until around 6ish.


Caught the festivities on TV around Houston.


....and there it is.......
 
Got up at a 5:45a.m. thinking it's a regular work day realized it wasn't fell back asleep till about 8:45 a.m. drove across town to hang out with Mom for a couple of hours My sweetie came over to my house later we hung out ate some of my fantastic bbq and ice cream stayed up half the dayum night cause those nigglects wanted to shoot off fire crackers till 1 a.m.:redhot:

My 4th

I can't believe yesterday came and went so fast. Needless to say...I didn't do anything too constructive. I only left the house once....and that was late last night.
 
Mine was ok

First of all, I did quite a bit of :sleeping:, then I went over to Niter's and ate BBQ and had dranks.

Ended up at the movies, watched some fireworks, then back home to get more :sleeping:.
 



What Did U People Do On The 4th Of July....

Well i didnt do to much but eat some good arse Bar-B-Que chicken with Macaroni Cheese and chilled at the house with my people. Thats all. Didnt do as much this 4th Of July as it did last time......One Love!!!!

STRAWDOG'S 4th.............

My 4th started with me slow cookin' my famous Barbeque Sause starting around 11:30 pm on (the 3rd).

12:20 am went outside and started my prep for so that I could have the ribs, chicken and other items on the grill(s) no later than 8:00 am.

6:30 am awake and decided to do a roll over :wavey:

7:30 realize the overcast has a little mist in it. Do 2nd roll over!! :D

8:30 decide it was now or never with company headed this way and planning to do some serious eatin' between 3 pm and 4.

10:00 am lit the grills.

11:00 am the sizzle and smell of beef, pork, and chicken on the grills. Yes GRILLS. I was dealing on 3.

2:30 pm everything off the grills except 1 boston butt.

3:30 we're eatin and the boston butt is continuing to hold its own on the grill. (Mannn.........the good lord sure has blessed me and my family and friends)

6:00 pm awaiting the ATL Braves.

7:00 pm Channel Surfing between innings and rain delays

8:30 pm The Boston Pops and their Traditional finalle of the 1812 overture with the real Howitzers firing in the backgroud!

10:00 surfing for ESPN and CNN Sports mixed in with FIREWORKS on TV.

11:00 quiet time with reading and reflection.

12:30 am on the 5 th....lights out!!!

Man I was with you until you got to this point. You actually look forward to watching that loser team.
