What happened to those D1 Aspirations Bama St. Lied About???

Can someone from Bama St. answer this for me?

All I know is that two or three years ago, there was all this talk about a subpar program busting through the ranks and pushing it's way into D1 Football. Well a couple of years haved passed and it seems like those are forgotten words. Was this a feeble attempt to garner support from other SWAC schools? I must admit, I fell for it. I was actually proud of the fact that Bama St. had taken the initiative to lead the way, despite having close to the worst program in the SWAC and currently being 3-35 all-time against the SWAC elete-Jackson State not to mention their all-time losing record against the rest of the SWAC.

What the HeLLLL was I thinking?:lmao:

How could I expect that a program with no winning tradition whatsoever, was actually serious about accomplishing anthing. They have luckily had a couple of 6-5 or 7-4 seasons and padded their schedule again this year with D2 caliber apponents to ensure the same.

Why did you attempt to hoodwink us? Bamboozle even?

There's no excuse, but Bama could you explain yourself?

Was this a case of "If you shoot for the moon, you will land among the stars?" Well, you still don't have a SWAC title and those D2 schools ain't gonna get it.:eek2:
 



Their Board realized they were too smalltime and closed that shop. :lmao:

I mean they only have one game that can draw over 30k and that is within the confines of Alabama. Smalltime.

We all know the Ho-nets can't remember anything past 2 years ago. By defeating a J-St team for 2 straight years out weighs the dayum near 10 straight years of losing to J-St, not to mention the dayum 20 straigtht years before that.

Jsu had aspirations to win their 2001 homecoming. It didnt' happen, but where was the lie? :D LMAO @ sIPPIaN LogIc.

If you go back and read all the threads concerning Bambi state wet dream, I mean field of dreams. You will see TP, robber, myself and a host of JSU, TN State, Gram, PV and MEAC and some SWAC Scholars told Bambi State they were living in the land of make believe.


Here is the scoop. There are five or six HBCU that have the $$$ and fans support to move up to D1A. TN State, JStank, FAMU, A&T, Gram and maybe Southern. Bambi state has been and will always be considered as a D2 Team, although they play in a D1AA Conference.

Now here is a man that has a keen sense of intelligence. Bambi state will always be considered as a D2 Team cause the play majority D2 schools, although they play in a D1AA Conference.
