JSU vs. Grambling

I give the nod to Grambling only because JSU is in the physical and aggressive mode. If the JSU defense plays with those intentions, GSU will win. AAMU tried the aggressive defense and got out coached.

If JSU comes out aggressive, GSU is going hit them with reverses, mis-directions, counters, slip screens, and will go to the double stacked wide-out formation. The double stack wide out formation is going to allow Frank Warren and others to have a field day running up the middle because that set is going to take the safety out of the middle of the field. JSU was succesful against Southern with that aggressive defense because Southern's running backs are pounding running backs, where as GSU's running backs are speed demons. GSU running backs and receivers should be on the GSU track team.

The best way to contain GSU is to play the umbrella defense(Keep everything in front of you).

On defense they are going to stack the middle with those 300 pounders and try to take away the run. Oliver is going to have play a smart game and stay in the pocket because those GSU linebackers and DB's are head hunters. The key is going to be whether Oliver take a lick without fumbling the ball. If JSU can establish the run it is anybody's ball game. It is a tough call but base upon the JSU aggressive style of play, GSU will win.

I did not attend the game, but I have a copy of the game (Cox tv). Plus I have copies of the following games:


FAMU vs. Southern

TSU vs. Jackson State

AAMU vs. Southern game

AAMU vs. Grambling

Southern vs. Bama State

I watched the JSU vs. Bama State game on the webcam.

Thursday night I will have a copy of the Pine Bluff vs. AAMU game

Saturday I will have copy of the Jackson State vs. Grambling game


What you saw in person, I have the ability to rewind, slow it down, and analyze the play.

You are crazy, no way we would lose to tsu, and Yall will not beat jsu, prairie view and pine bluff should have spanked that but, the aamu win yall just caught them on a bad day, just lucky. Yall have a real opponent this week!!!!!!!!! Then you talk and be cocky
 
Arkansas ? Pine Bluff @ Alabama A&M - The Bulldogs had a week off to rest and plan. PB has played hard as of late and gained much needed confidence against New Mexico St. and Gram. The Bulldogs don't look ahead to the MCC.

Alcorn @ Southern - Southern is still Southern and Coach Richardson rallies the Jags for the stretch run and showdown with GSU.

Grambling @ Jackson State - Although the offenses for GSU and SU are similar, a very disciplined and quick GSU squad will make JSU pay for their many mistakes.

Texas Southern @ Miss. Valley - Valley finally gets a break.

I got all of the home teams winning at home this week.

SWAC GOW:
#1 Grambling 5-1/4-0 @ #4 Jackson State 4-2/4-0 , A Classic match-up for all other to see how big time Black Collage football is played. All eyes with be checking out GSU and JSU on 10/20/07. I'll be looking to see if the Blue Tigers can be for real this year. This point last year is where it all can apart.
