APB vs AA&M - Bull Dawgs are rolling once again. One dimensional teams are in trouble.
GSU vs JSU - Tigers from North louisiana are for real. Jackson state are in for a reality check. GSU by at least 2 TD's
TSU vs MVSU - Flip a coin, Delta Devils win
SU vs Alcorn - Jaguars are hurting real bad. They do have enough to squeak by the Braves.

UAPB @ AAMU.......gotta go with the Dawgs. They are rested and waiting. PB finding out how tough it is to maintain being a winner.
TxSU @ Valley.........Totten finally gets a much needed win after the slide. A loss here would be intolerable for the Devils. Especially at home.
Alcorn @ SU......We are down but not out. SU rises to the challenge. Alcorn and Dr. Johnny always play us tough but not this year. We get through this game and we have a bye week to get healthy again.
Gram @ JSU.....JSU remembers this game started their collapse last season. I expect them to take it out on Gram this year. JSU can stop the run. Landers will be forced to beat the "Darkside D" This game will won or lost in the trenches.

JSU vs. Grambling
I give the nod to Grambling only because JSU is in the physical and aggressive mode. If the JSU defense plays with those intentions, GSU will win. AAMU tried the aggressive defense and got out coached.
If JSU comes out aggressive, GSU is going hit them with reverses, mis-directions, counters, slip screens, and will go to the double stacked wide-out formation. The double stack wide out formation is going to allow Frank Warren and others to have a field day running up the middle because that set is going to take the safety out of the middle of the field. JSU was succesful against Southern with that aggressive defense because Southern's running backs are pounding running backs, where as GSU's running backs are speed demons. GSU running backs and receivers should be on the GSU track team.
The best way to contain GSU is to play the umbrella defense(Keep everything in front of you).
On defense they are going to stack the middle with those 300 pounders and try to take away the run. Oliver is going to have play a smart game and stay in the pocket because those GSU linebackers and DB's are head hunters. The key is going to be whether Oliver take a lick without fumbling the ball. If JSU can establish the run it is anybody's ball game. It is a tough call but base upon the JSU aggressive style of play, GSU will win.
