Spady - (AAMU) - Says they will be the road team a lot this and they will be prepared. Says that UAB has a very good football team and that they must play fundamental football against them. Says they have to play better this week against UAB and that the team showed some fight against Tuskegee.
Question 1 - asked about the conditions. Talking about it being very hot at both Orlando and in Tuskegee and how his team adjusted to it.
Answer - says the teams conditioning has impressed him. Says the guys took their off-season conditioning very seriously.
Question 2 - asked about what does he know about this UAB team.
Answer - Says that UAB is in C-USA and they have the players that he is trying to recruit for his program. Says that UAB has a lot of transfers they were able to get in their system. Says they put up 500 yards of offense on Mississippi St. and they competed with them for almost the whole game. Says that UAB will be better up front than AAMU but AAMU might be able to match them in skill positions.
Question 3 - asked about using the WRs more on offense
Answer - Says whether one WR get 10 catches or 10 WR getting 1 catch it is about getting production on offense.
Question 4 - asked about being up 14-10 on Tuskegee in the 1st Quarter and how important it was to shut Tuskegee down in the 2nd and 3rd quarter.
Answer - Says that he told his team not to look at the scoreboard and just play hard in the second half and that they would be victorious. Says they didn't play a perfect game but they did manage to get the win.
Question 5 - asked about the rushing defense and that AAMU didn't give up one rushing touchdown.
Answer - said that it was good that they was good against the run and make teams think they have to throw the ball against AAMU to win the game. Says some things that they will have to work out in the secondary but as long as he is the coach at AAMU that he is going to try to stop the run. Says that he want teams to have to throw long in order to try to beat them. Says he trying to develop a pass rush so they won't have to blitz as much.
 
Yea I think it is the internet browsers you guys are using. I did not have issues with Week 1 or Week 2's recordings.
 
Barlow (Alabama St.) - last weekend game of fun, had the inauguration of their president. wanted to end the weekend with a win. Says that Tennessee St. was ranked in the FCS top 25 and that they did a pretty good job of stopping the run. Says the offense was sluggish but found a way to get touchdowns. Says that they got MVSU and Coach Comegy. Says that he has a lot or respect for Comegy and his teams. Says that Comegy teams also were touch and that he know that Comegy took that some concept to Valley. Says that it will be a touch game with the parody in the SWAC. Says the his team is trying to get some hurt guys back healthy against Valley.
Question 1 - asked about Tennessee St. being ranked high and what did Barlow discover about his own team
Answer - Says he likes his team and that his team fought how to make a game against Sam Houston St. and fought hard against Tennessee St. Says he told his team not to look at the scoreboard and to compete and that he is happy to play against a good team and get the victory.
Question 2 - asked about going up against Comegy coach teams and what are they like.
Answer - Says that he admire Comegy and that Comegy always have touch teams. Says they are physical on defense and love to establish the run on offense.
Question 3 - Says that a lot of people say that teams make their biggest improvement from week 1 to week 2 and does that hold true for his team.
Answer - Says there was some improvement, but his team still have a long way to go. Says you can have all the summer conditioning you want but you learn from playing games. Says that his team must improve in all 3 phases for the game.
Question 4 - asked about Cromwell and his 2 TDs yesterday.
Answer - felt that Cromwell was in the top 5 RBs in the draft and that he didn't get drafted at all. Says that Cromwell has the skill set to be in the NFL and that he talked to him this morning.
Question 5 - asked about Thomas and what kind of spark that he gave the team.
Answer - Says that Thomas is a transfer from Kentucky. That he is mentally grown and that he is the backup to Malcolm Says that he is an elusive runner and is expecting a big year from him.
 
Hopson (Alcorn) - Says Alcorn had a chance to win it in the end. Says those turnovers hurt us. Says the kids played hard but at the end of the day USM won and now has to focus on Louisiana College a good DIII school.
Question 1 - asked what did he tell his guys after the loss to USM.
Answer - Says that his team went to USM to win the game. Didn't want to say much until he saw the film from the game. Say that he believes that USM WR was 1.5 yards out of bounds when he caught that TD pass in the second quarter and that they didn't call the horsecaller against USM on Alcorn 2-point conversion attempt. Says that Alcorn still could have won depite that calls if they wouldn't have turned the ball over 4 times. Said that Alcorn tried that best to hold the SWAC banner against USM. Said that USM game was a touch one to swallow.
Question 2 says Alcorn went into halftime 20-7 and outscored USM 13-6 in the second half and that Alcorn ran the ball very well on USM and ask how Alcorn was able to do that.
Answer - Says the team ran the ball well and that they had a lot of 3rd down dropped passes. Said the dropped passes was the only thing he wasn't pleased with from the team. Says Alcorn fumbled the ball deep inside USM 10 yard line. Says the team went in to win it and didn't do enough to win it.
Question 3 asked about Louisiana College and being back at home.
Answer - says they have to get prepared for Louisiana College and that they are a really good football team.
Question 4 asked Hopson to replay the last drive against USM.
Answer - says that they got into USM territory with about 2 minutes left. Had a miscommunication on the 3rd down play which resulted in a fumble. Said that it was PI on the 4th down play that wasn't called. Said that Alcorn still lost the game and had an opportunity to win it.
Question 5 asked about the team coming back on USM
Answer - says the team has a lot of fight in them. Says that he will go to his casket believing that Alcorn had 9 points taken from them. Says that Alcorn wasn't the first team did like that and won't be the last one. Says the team must get over it and move on to the next game.

USM called a Td back when jsu played them awhile ago. Sucks that they have to CHEAT to win
