Week 2 - Other Football Games

The Pac-12 will give the SEC a run for its money for the best conference this year. I think it will happen for the next few years.

While Vandy maybe back to being Vandy, Ole Miss is not the semi-guaranteed win that it use to be.

USC just recovered a fumble late in the game. It was Stanford's game to win, but the Trojans showed a lot of heart today.

USC 13
Stanford 10
Final

Hugh Freeze will be gone after having a good season again. you know the offers will come. So Ole Piss success will be short lived. After watching Nebraska, they should be looking at a coach like Freeze.

LSU Leonard Fournette strikes Heisman Pose...Let's Get To SEC Play First Young Man!

Miami 28
FAMU 7
Halftime

FAMU hasn't looked terrible at all...our O-line has held up fairly well. Our defense hasn't looked horrible either...kinda hard to stop Duke Johnson and Phillip Doucet

Man, Brandon Harris has a shotgun arm for LSU.......However he ran for a 45 yard TD. :emlaugh:
(Jennings has looked outstanding as well though with good touch)

Rattlers drive down the field on Miami following our 2nd INT of the night...we get inside the redzone...Fleming gets sacked on 3rd down...loses a bunch of yards...FAMU misses a 48 yard FG

Score remains 28-7 in the 3rd quarter

I will be honest. I thought that Miami would be up by over 40 at this point. There are some ex-Canes that have been unhappy with what the Canes have be doing.

Now Miami 31-7

Look at the quarterbacks that the SEC has lost to the NFL recently. It can have an effect like the defensive back losses.

Oregon has come storming back!

4th 14:14

Michigan St 27
Oregon 39

The Big 10 needs a win by Michigan State. They could use wins by Ohio State and Michigan too.

We've played 'em tough...Holmes mentioned after halftime that he would sit on the ball a little bit...our defense continues to stand tough in the red zone

We forced Brad Kaaya to throw 2 INT's tonight

A lot of them want Golden gone. Golden practically begged for the Penn State job and didn't get it.

Miami going for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter to tack on points...I think they've gone for it 2 or 3 times...38-7 Miami...4 minutes left in the game
