Weak Attendance Numbers...

I'm not big on attendance smack, but some of the folk who have tried to knock Grambling in the past (and who have claimed to travel sooooo well) ain't putting up the numbers to support these claims. So far Grambling has had a huge impact on the numbers at San Jose and Lorman. This past week's game in Lorman significantly surpassed the numbers for the Braves home opener in the previous week. Look for a huge GSU crowd in OUR home away from home Stadium in Shreveport. This game might even surpass the total from LaTech and the Miami Hurricanes.

As far those of you that want to be concerned about GSU's attendance numbers, maybe you should follow the advice of the Williams Brothers and "Sweep Around Your Own Front Door"...

This is so pathetic, I can't even smack it......... yes I can. Hell they gave away 26,000 tickets to look at ya'll sorry @ss in San Jose.

Hit...Dog...Holler!

Are yall afraid to play at home or something? Haven't yall realized that your fans don't travel well anymore? All those mid-level finishes in the conference got your fans questioning how good of a program you have.

Are you still impressed with the win over Valley? Hell they lost to Pine Bluff. I will be glad when yall play a quality opponent. These still a lot of question marks about yall. That talent level of yours don't seem to be so good...we'll see once yall start playing someone decent. Not counting Jackson cuz :#1 the game don't count and #2 their team ain't no count. But you better get worried about Pine Bluff (hell they beat Valley dayum near worse than yall), A&M, Bama State and Alcorn.

We'll finish what's left of yall in the Bayou Classic. Will some of yall still be here...don't do like BG did last year and escape to the RoundTable Forum all during the season.

18,000, paid was good for us.

Shreveport will be a sell out because we are playing. Our Good Native American and the 7,000 bamas from the Air Base will be at the game to see us play.

Wait until the I-Coons play Valley or PV then compare the attendance. The attendance this week in Shreveport should be higher since it is a rematch of the 2002 SCG, and in GSU backyard.

Don't try to shift the blame on Valley and PV! Yall are the road kings...the jaguar nation...you guys [supposedly] travel everywhere. What happened? Jackson ain't but a 2.5 hr drive.
Shreveport ain't but 4.5 hrs. What's the deal. Has the plants around BR had some layoffs? Did someone have to work a turnaround? Are the fairweather fans waiting til yall beat a quality team?

I think a lot of folk know yall ain't that good. You know you jags disappear when things start looking mediocre (ever since 1999).

Facts: The next time ya'll sell tickets to anyone other than SuckNites then you talk... The difference between GSU and su is that when we play everyone buys tickets, but when ya'll play only the alumni buys tickets... See the difference, if not let me break it down more for you... Everyone wants to watch GSU nobody but the people in Red stick, LA want to watch su...

Conclusion: When ya'll start being recognized nationally then you talk until then STFU...:mrt:

Facts: Man have you ever been to a GSU vs PV game??? Every year for the past 5 years, the attendance has been 55K or higher. I know that 2 or 3 years ago it was 70K+... So talk what you know, sucka... I bet our attendance for the GSU/PV game will be higher than your first 3 games combined?

Conclusion: Stop acting like 'Dumb Donald' (ref. to the char on Fat Albert)!!! :mrt:

Nobody trying to shift on anything and blame is the wrong word to use. We needed a place to play the game and Shreveport was worth a shot. Beside 10,000 or 11,000 fans at a game is better then what half the school avg. in our conference.

If you say so...I've lived in BR since 1979. From 1979-2000 I'm gonna estimate that I've been to 10 games. 4 of those happened in 1979. Since 2000, I've been on campus for 3 games actually went inside for 1 (my frat couldn't give away a ticket so I bought it).

Hey dumbell NO#2, we play everybody in the conf. unlike J-Stank ,what ya'll are p!@@ at is the fact we probably won't be all bang-up from playing a strong out of conf. schedule this year so you don't have anybody else to do your dirty work.

Sorry you will get that @ss tapped by a healthy Jaguar team this year and there ain't isht you can do about it.

Man you have the worst math skills that I have ever seen... First of all Neanderthal this is 2003 so use current stats.

FACTS:

San Jose State vs Gram 31,681
Alcorn vs Gram 17,500
__________________________
Sum 49,181 (ADDED INFO)

Miss Valley vs SUck 12,350
PV vs SUck 11,947
__________________________
Sum 24,297

And I ain't even gonna post JSU attendance because it's irrelevant...

Minimum attendance of The State Fair Classic is 55K in that past five years...

CONCLUSION: If our min. attendance in the past 5 years at the GSU vs PV game is 55K then that would mean that you all would need 30K at your next game. So like I said, ?I bet we will have more people at the State Fair Classic than you all would have at your first 3 games.?
