Don't think I dislike my hood brothers and sisters I have much love for them. Well some of them and the the others are plumb fools and really don't see anything wrong with the way they live.
I just get so Damn frustrated when these Dummies will fall behind on their rent when it's only $50 or less monthly.
Had this conversation last week.
Me: Where my damn $43?
Tennant: Mr. Sleeper you don't need that $43 why you even come over here about that.
Me: Because that's the way the Sec 8 program works if they say you must pay 27 cents you need to pay the damn 27 cents.
Tennant: Well I don't have it today
Me: well I'm filing eviction tomorrow and notifying your case worker.
Tennant: Dang why u going to do all that.
Me: Because I am tired of this nonsense. You know you need to pay this $43 every month why you make me drive over here for $43. Well $68 now because you know I charge a $25 trip charge for coming over here. Anyway I'm out, call your case worker, she will have the paperwork first thing in the morning.
Tennant: Mr. Sleeper can you give me a break this month. You don't need that $43 and I do.
Me: What would an appointment complex do? Why do you expect anything different from me? Have a nice evening.
Tennant: Can I pay you next week?
Me: Sure but all late fees, court costs, and administrative fees will need to be paid in full to stop the eviction process.
1 hour later: phone rings
Me: yes ma'am
Tennant: I just deposited your $68 and texted you a picture of the receipt.
Me: Thank you, saved me some paperwork.
Tennant: I had to take back a video game I bought my son. I couldn't get it before Christmas so I got it for him this week.
Me: Can't you replace it next week with the $ you were going to pay me with?
Tennant: I just feel so bad...
Me: So he didn't get anything on Christmas day?
Tennant: He got some stuff...Named of a nice list of things, but he really wanted that game too.
Me: What good is a video game if you don't have anywhere to play it at?
Tennant: Mr. Sleeper you were going to put me out for real.
Me: Yes
Tennant: that's messed up I been living here almost 3 years.
Me: Yes and you make collecting $43 more trouble than it's worth. Be late again and I will not renew your lease. She tells her sister what I said. Her sister says " if you put her out can I get this house? I have no problem paying on time. Been in my apartment 5 years and I want a house."
Tennant: No because I aint going no where
Me: please pay on time, good day. I hang up.
This dumb shat is a total waste of time that's why I change a trip change. I see it all the time, the will buy their kid or them selves some over priced shoes, a video game, or new cell phone when the rent ain't paid.
