Look at you now. "I do respect all Greek Organizations." But at first you post NESS like:Originally posted by enswaclopedia
I see I have caused an uproar from the Sigma's and Zeta's. First of all let me say that I am a member of KAPPA ALPHA PSI Fraternity. I pledged into the BETA ZETA (NON GREATER ) CHAPTER in 80. Let me start out by saying that I do respect all Greek organizations and the work that they do in their various communities. I just hope that the one's complaining about my post are actively involved with their local chapter. If you are not active then you really have no reason to complain because you don't see fit to continue working for the good of your organization. I was not trying to make fun of any of the other organizations but I will stand by my opinion that the Sigma's and Zeta's are not as popular or recognizable as the other fraternities or sororities. We all can name famous members of our organizations. But I can say that Johnnie Cochran, John Conyers,Tom Bradley,Bill Russell,Ralph Abernathy, Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, Arthur Ashe and Gen. Daniel "Chappie James became a member the same way that I did. They were college students or college graduates who pledged.
AND"What I mean is that the Zeta's have always been a very very very very very very very distant third to the AKA's and Delta's in all categories. I never hear anyone say I going to be a Zeta. They just seem to one day show up with a blue tee shirt on. The same thing with the Sigma's. They are always a very very very very very very very very very very very very very vewry very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very distant fourth to the Nupe's, Que's and Alpha's. This is not smack but truth. You better watch out; Iota Phi Theta is gaining ground on you. There is no need for you to snap at the truth. "
I believe that is very very very disrespectful. I dont believe ones activeness in a local chapter have anything to do with ones love for the organization. But to squash all doubt about me being active, I am an active member in the Alpha Beta Sigma Chapter here in Houston, Tx.Why would anyone take that kind of punishment to be a Zeta? Maybe a Delta or an AKA, but a Zeta. They must have a different breed of Zeta in Virginia than they do in the south.

Also amethyst08, what's up with these sororites having 150 pledges online? My ex pledged AKA at Grambling and there were 100 + ladies online. Once she crossed, she didn't hardly know any of them. What's up with that? I personally think no line should be more than 15 pledgees. When I crossed the Burning Sands of Omega Psi Phi, it was just me and my lb. We know everything about eachother and we are close like brothers. I feel if you have 100+ people pledging, there is no way there can be any kind of bond between all of the pledgees. What's your take on that?
