I enjoyed the 2 times that I got to battle against Tenn State. Heck we even scrambled up as many band members that we could during Hurricane Gustav(a lot of them went home to flee the hurricane) so could still play against y'all in 2008. Had us breaking Mayor-ordered curfews and everything. lol

I disagree. SU the band is not the most hated our fans Jaguar Nation is the most hated. SU is the most wanted and pay per view band out here. J state the most liked? Hmmm where's the evidence?

The arrangement thing debate is always based on what genre of music that particular band associate more with. I'll say TnSU classic long tune songs are better than SU and SU rap tunes are usually better than TnSU. SU might win zero quarter but TnSU definently is aiming at tht 5th.lol

Y'all acting like we haven't battled TNSU before. There are plenty of clips of the battles and TNSU definitley didn't walk away with Ws in all of those battles.

They couldn't do that in a SWAC conference game because the refs would give them a warning and flag them. Especially when they do that darn Spirit Mix. lol
 
It don't matter how "technical" another band is...SU has shown that it can be technical in a multitude of genres at varies tempos

And, that "SU is just loud" rhetoric has been PROVEN to not be true. Been not true...and still is not

Yall act'n like SU ain't put a foot in TennSt's arse on many'a occassions. Yall memories ain't that frigg'n fragile
 
Dude I just looked at this and the typical losers are on here talking crap about SU. Always on their minds even when we're not battling that says a lot. I find it funny they talk about arrangements but they're quicker to hire a SU grad than most. LOL!!!

You aren't kidding, go check out their Sonic Boom thread. These dudes brought up SU in a thread about their own band with not a single non-JSU person posting in the thread. And I always find it funny how JSU people always want to talk about arrangements when 90% of folks not affiliated with either school would tell you our arrangements are leagues ahead of theirs. And then bring up the "loud" stuff like their band and 80% of the SWAC bands don't try to play loud and match our volume. lol

yes, we have hired some SU grads... too many for any of our tastes but the last one was just to keep one out of the unemployment line. Just say thanks..... .
