Coaching issues Pole.
I haven't had much time to pay a lot of attention this year. You all scored a lot of points. That seems to be the m o in the east. The top four teams are scoring a lot of points. I just wish we could figure out how to stop somebody lol. You know, historically it seems that the swac was always in offensive league. The MEAC was more defense.

Geography plays a part - colder up north earlier so running attacks tend to be the choice knowing you'll need it more and the coaches in the MEAC are ball-control coaches who value defense first - QB development in the MEAC was about being a game manager rather than winning it yourself - Del State finally got a QB and looks like they'll ride his legs and play just enough defense kinda like FAMU during their heyday

you have that philosophy in the SWAC fans get mad damn near lol - the Grambling State staff from 2007-10 produced 5 head coaches in the MEAC, SWAC and CAA with that style - (he should've won 3 titles honestly) when Broadway came back to the MEAC it was probably easier for him as teams didnt throw the ball and they played to his strength

as for TSU - you see it but the margin for error is thin - without fancy facilities, you have to know how to recruit personnel there and player development is key as your going to lose productive players yearly - McKinney recruited very well quiet as its kept and Dishman's staff has done the same as freshmen are quietly playing key roles this year - the best running back now was a longsnapper as a freshman lol -

other SWAC coaches know if you win there your the king of the city so that's why alot of them fight to get there behind closed doors - if there's ever a major facility investment it'll become plug and play like PV has become
