UT up by 21 with 8 minutes left in the first half.
 



lol.... just SAD... Ole Miss better be lucky they sat Candace Parker out for the rest of the game... she had a field day tonight.

I tried to tell those fly by night Ole Miss fans yesterday that UT is a different breed.. UT wins by 50 if the starters stay in the game.... they damn near bust 100 and Parker didnt play the last 8 minutes.
 
DaHill I've been a Tenn fan since chamika Holdsclaw so I wasn't green on the subject. I just said ole miss has always had a decent team. I had a home girl who took her team to the state as a player twice. She played for Ole Miss and has now taken two 5A programs to the state championship game. Starkville and now Tupelo. Ole Miss produces good women teams period but I roll with Tenn. And I hate uconn.

I never denied Ole Milss had a good team.. like I said earlier I saw them play in person.. UT has always been my team when it comes to women. I like womens baskektball better than mens. I even had the chance to meet Patt Summitt back when she was on a recruiting trip in Huntsville. Holdsclaw was my girl, but I like Candace Parker even more. I like players who talk ISH... and did you see the look on Parkers face when she blocked those shots... she looked at the girl from Ole Miss and said "ARE YOU SERIOIUS" lol... that was my highlight of the game even though she almost got t'd up for it.

I saw that ish. I skip the gym today to watch that game. Now we have to play UNC and they have the big bodies down low to contend with Parker. It will be a tough road to that championship. All three teams we may face have good front court players.
 
My brothers like Ivory and I like Shannon Bobbit and Alexis Hornbuckle. Shannon Bobbit is going to cross the fugg out of Ivory Latta. UT is going to beat UNC this time.
 
I went to the UNC/Purdue game here in Dallas last night and Larkins is simply the REAL DEAL. Nice mid-range jumper, excellent low post moves and a very dangerous passer, not to mention a good defender. She had her way with Purdue.

Now, Rutgers will beat LSU.

I dont see Rutgers coming close to LSU.....After watchiing LSu beat the brakes off UCONN, I think they will be too much for Rugers...their big girl wont be able to contain Fowles.

UT-NC game will be a good game... Latta vs Bobbitt should be very entertaining.
 
hell what did u think was gone happen? Ole Miss doesn't have anywhere near the size Tennessee has. Ole Miss is just a bunch of fire ants, and last night the elephant stepped on them. Let's see what Parker does with somebody her own size like Sylvia Fowles who gave in to her ass in the SEC tournament.

In fact................I TOLD YOU OVER A MONTH AGO when discussing the POOKIE incident.
I said VAN CHANCLER ran through teams back then but ran into the same problem that everyone else did back then.................TENNESSEE.
It's not shocking Tennessee won..........Would have been goood if Ole Miss had pulled off the upset.

Say I'm telling a lie and I'll quote myself from that thread. :lol:

UT as a whole played their worst game of the year in the SEC tournament... .won t happen in the Final Four.... Parker had a bad game in the SEC tournament... wont happen again... the NCAA tournament is a different story...and dont forget the first time LSU and UT played this year Parker had 27 points and 15 rebounds WHILE Fowles was guarding her... Ole Miss played the Lady Vols close during regular season... its a different story in the NCAA tournament.

stag... I could give 2 ****s about those two no name colleges which happen to call Mississippi home..... I brought up Tennessee when JagBR said that Ole Miss had a chance of going all the way... i KNEW it was no way in hell they would beat UT. Its not about home state.. UT women are my team, I would pull for them against any team in my HOME state.

damn its fun using these colors like you do.... one i learn the smiley thing you wont be able to uck with me LOL
